Card payment authorization
Version 2026-11-03. Before any card is charged, the account owner reads and signs this authorization for the exact plan, amount and billing period.
How it works
1. In Settings → Plan & billing, the owner chooses a plan, monthly or yearly billing, and Stripe or Square.
2. The owner reads the authorization filled in with their plan and amount, accepts the Terms of Service, confirms they may use the card, and types their full name as a signature.
3. Velouno stores the signed wording word for word with the time, a fingerprint (SHA-256) and the Terms version, then opens Stripe's or Square's secure checkout. The card is entered there; Velouno never receives the card number.
4. The plan switches on when the provider confirms the payment, and renews each period until cancelled in Settings → Plan & billing. The owner can download the signed authorization there at any time.

The wording you sign (example)
Recurring card payment authorization (version 2026-11-03) Plan: Velouno ERP: Standard, billed monthly. Amount: $50 USD per month, plus any tax shown at checkout. Account: [your email] ([Your company]). Date: [today]. I, [Your full name], authorize Velouno to charge the payment card I enter on Stripe's secure checkout $50 USD today and again at the start of each month until I cancel. I am the cardholder, or I am authorized by the cardholder to approve these charges for [Your company]. I can cancel at any time in Settings → Plan & billing or by emailing support@velouno.com. Cancelling stops future charges; the plan stays on until the end of the month already paid. Charges already made are not refunded except as the Terms of Service or the law require. Velouno will email me at least 30 days before any price change. If a charge fails, Stripe may retry it. Velouno does not receive or store my full card number. I will contact Velouno before disputing a charge with my card issuer. I have read and agree to the Velouno Terms of Service (version 2026-11-03).
